Step 1: Prepare the Requirements
Before going to any Globe Store, make sure to prepare the following:
- Affidavit of Loss – You can get this from a notary public. It’s required to prove that your SIM was really lost or stolen.
- Two (2) valid government-issued IDs – Examples: Passport, Driver’s License, PhilHealth, UMID, or Postal ID.
📌Tip: They only accept valid government IDs, so make sure they’re not expired. You’ll be asked to present these and they’ll make photocopies for their records.
Step 2: Visit the Nearest Globe Store
Once you have all your documents ready, go to the nearest Globe Store.
In my case, I went to the Globe Store in Greenbelt.
When you arrive:
- Go to the reception or front desk.
- Tell them you’re there to replace a lost SIM.
- You’ll be given a queue number — just wait for your turn to be called.
When it’s your turn, the staff will ask a few details such as your mobile number, and whether it’s prepaid or postpaid.
Step 3: Fill Out the Customer Request Form
Next, you’ll be asked to fill out a Customer Modification Request Form.
This form includes your name, number, and some verification details.
After filling it out, submit it along with your affidavit of loss and two IDs.
The staff will photocopy your IDs and attach them to your form.
Step 4: Verification and Processing
Once you’ve submitted everything, the Globe team will start verifying your information.
They might ask you a few questions like:
- When was the last time you used your SIM?
- How much was your last load?
- Any regular promos or calls you usually make?
This process usually takes around 30 minutes.
After that, they’ll release your replacement SIM card — and the best part is, it has the same number as your old one!
No fees required! The TM SIM replacement with same number is completely free for prepaid users.
Step 5: Activate Your New SIM
Once you receive your new SIM, just insert it into your phone.
It will work just like your old one — same number, same services, and your contacts can still reach you using your previous number.

TM SIM replacement with same number via GlobeOne App
You can now replace, upgrade, or register your SIM directly from your phone using the GlobeOne App — no need to visit a store (unless required for security reasons).
Step 1: Get a Replacement SIM First
Before anything in the app, you need to secure a new Globe SIM card.
You can get it from:
- Any Globe Store or kiosk in malls (SM, Robinsons, etc.), or
- Order it online via the Globe Store website or Globe Shopee/Lazada Official Store.
This SIM will be empty — no number yet. It’s meant to replace your old one.
Step 2: Open the GlobeOne App
- Download or open the GlobeOne App.
- Log in using your Globe or TM account.
Step 3: Go to SIM Services → Replace SIM
- Tap SIM Services in the menu.
- Choose Replace SIM.
Here, the app will ask you to:
- Confirm you are the owner of the SIM number you want to replace.
- Accept the terms and conditions.
Step 4: Insert the New SIM
Once the app instructs you, insert your new SIM into the same SIM slot where your old one used to be (e.g., Slot 1).
This step is important so that the system can activate it correctly.
Step 5: Activation
After submitting the request in the app:
- Your new SIM will automatically take over your old mobile number.
- This process usually takes a few minutes.
Globe will send a message or notification once the TM SIM replacement with same number is successful.
How much will I be charged when using the GlobeOne App?
You’ll be charged a small fee for TM SIM replacement with same number through the GlobeOne App.

Delivery Timelines
Delivery timelines refer to how long it takes for your replacement SIM to arrive.
- 1–2 days for NCR: If you’re in Manila or the National Capital Region (NCR), your SIM will arrive within 1 to 2 days.
- 3–5 days for provincial key cities: If you live in a major city like Cebu, Davao, or Baguio, delivery usually takes 3 to 5 days.
- 7–10 days for far-flung or outside-delivery areas: If you’re in a remote location where delivery services are limited, it may take 7 to 10 days to receive your SIM.
Important
If the courier makes three failed delivery attempts, your order will be canceled and no refund will be issued.
In this case, you’ll need to submit a new request at a Globe Store.
You don’t have to leave your house at all — everything is done online. So while you’re relaxing, doing chores, or running other errands, Globe takes care of the rest. Who would’ve thought SIM replacement would be this easy? Times have really changed!
